Joseph Sullivan's website - c0d3runn3r
Being Net Admin for Alyrica as well as a freelance programmer, I play with neat stuff on the web all day long.  But I still don't have my own website, at any rate until now.   Drop me a message!  My email address (and MSN messenger) is zgreycoat at yahoo.com. For AIM, I'm zgreycoat1.

So here's a start.  Some of my big projects:

Software and electronics:

Literature I've written:

Dancing:

Sometime in the middle of 2004, I was abducted by aliens from another world, with long fingers and bulbous eyes.  Finding me a remarkable subject, they performed a series of painful experiments on me!  After having my brain repacked into my cranium for about the tenth time, I awoke with a desire to dance -- particularly the Nightclub 2 and west coast swing (WCS).  Although finding yourself to possess a previously unknown affinity is slightly disturbing, It is not always unpleasant.

Music:

I really like a couple of Alicia Machado's songs, Detrás del olvido and Yo soy la otra.  I speak Spanish, but songs are hard enough to understand even when written in english.  I looked for the lyrics to Olvido but couldn't find anything.  Hmm.  Actually, Alicia doesn't even seem to have a website.  I listened to the song, tried to transcribe it, and then made a loose translation.  If this means anything to you, I'm posting it here:  Detrás del olvido - por la bella Alicia Machado

Oh yeah... I was talking about music, wasn't I?  I like hip hop, *good* techno/dance (not boring stuff); and about a zillion random artists from Michelle Branch and Norah Jones to Tommy Lee, Fountains of Wayne, and Keith Green.  As if THAT has any more relevance to someone's character than their favorite colour...?

Helpful computer questions:

  • How to stop startup programs from starting up automatically in Windows 2000

Click on the start button, and select "Run".  Then type REGEDIT and click "OK".

    Now, Open up HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
You'll see a list of things that are starting up.  Delete those you don't want.
